google redeem Alaska miles应该有挺多讨论。70k确实太少。有家庭我觉得一家人申最少两三张才勉强好用。我自己申过几次卡感觉不难。不过我有过BOA的bank account和relationship history，可能也起点作用。

不需要post，但是周末交钱的话，未必会当天显示出来吧，有些gov的网站会有延迟，比如你提交了信用卡信息，但是周一才扣费，这个可能得提前试一下

然而强制你用travel卡去做travel或dinning的消费，相对其他此两个类别高返现卡损失了机会成本 
you only have to make sure 2.625% of what you spend on the card is for travel dining.
let’s say you pay 15k for property tax & misc spending a year, and have $400 in credits. You only need to make sure 400 among the 15k is for travel or dining. veli easy. you will have them just by making mistakes in choosing the right card to shop.
plus, 2.625% is not a bad cashback by tiself.
用CSR在travel/dinning上保底4.5%的返现(3%x1.5)来对比，在travel rewards这张卡上刷400刀就损失了$7.5的机会成本。所以如果年消费大于30K刀的话，这张卡等效年费就大于premium rewards了。
然而premium rewards的开卡奖励是travel rewards的两倍，多了250刀……用来offset它15刀的年费可以offset多少年……
所以最佳做法还是两张卡都要开，然后等1年之后把premium rewards关掉或换卡（然后24个月之后churn）
