What happened?
Paceline offered to reimburse the cost of an Apple Watch up to $429 for a year, given that the user meets Paceline’s weekly fitness goal. Paceline users used their Paceline credit card to pay for the Apple Watch upfront. Each week that the Paceline user meets their fitness goal, 1/52 of the cost would be added as statement credit.

Paceline’s credit card is now closing for every user and not offering to cover the remaining cost of the Apple Watch for users who have had their card less than a year. Users who signed up for Paceline’s credit card within a year were falsely advertised to. Users believed that the Apple Watch would be fully reimbursed as long as users were able to meet Paceline’s fitness goals.

Users were also charged a $60 annual membership fee and Paceline made no mention of reimbursing that fee.

What would be a fair resolution to this issue?
Reimbursement in the form of direct deposit or a check to all users who purchased an Apple Watch with Paceline’s credit card, with the reimbursement cost being statement credit for the amount of weeks left in their Apple Watch payment fitness program. Reimburse the annual fee proportionally.
