那不是。新闻是为一群人写的，不是为我一个人写的，必然会有很多对我来说不关心或者已经知道的信息在里面。这一点换成中文也没差。对于 WSJ 这种日常长篇大论的，我真正不知道且又期望从文章里获取的，可能就是一个态度或者一个结论。

这种体例是南北战争的报道中首次使用，写法是按重要性从前往后。你可以在任何一个位置退出，通常后面的内容都不如你已读的重要。
另一种体例以WSJ冠名：华尔街日报体The WSJ Formula。这种体例是以一个故事开头，以小见大；再写报道的主题，支持材料；最后回到故事
