神奇的就是，Amex没有要求carry on行李的书面证明(我是没看到相关条款)，只是写要求checked in的证明。
所以楼主拿到赔偿了

也许是托运时是摔了，
但你幸运的是在电车发现的，给赔了。
要是在机场拿行李时发现，单程机票，Amex 就不给赔了 
我给的解释是出来之后在电车才拖不动的，后面也要了我amex gold （suica 充值）的statement，我猜应该是按carry on，trip=机场-酒店的电车trip，还有gold的baggage insurance cover的？没给我说怎么赔的细节，但是飞机和电车的statement都要了
今年3月份在日本新干线上发现行李箱损坏（可能是飞机也可能是新干线转火车时候），一直没有修扔家里了。新干线票是AMEX Platinum买的还可以claim吗？有追溯时间要求吗？

It is a Covered Trip by a Covered Person for Baggage between the point of departure and the
final destination shown on the Covered Person’s ticket or verification issued by the Common
Carrier, provided such trip on the Common Carrier was paid with an Eligible Trip Payment

索赔是有期限的呀，30天内？
除非你还在旅行中？ 
30天内是行李丢失？我的是行李箱损坏。我打电话给AMEX保险部门，客服让我填表。我问时间是否太久远，客服没有说不行，也没有明确说行。
行李丢失和损坏索赔限期是一样的吧？
反正条款是那样写的

AMEX现金单程票不赔行李损坏吗？我看terms写的是：
Benefits are provided for Replacement Cost of Baggage in the event of Baggage Damage or
Baggage Loss while in direct transit to or from a Common Carrier’s terminal to Board or Exit
a Common Carrier Vehicle or when Baggage is checked-in with or carried-on the Common
Carrier while traveling on a Covered Baggage Trip.

所以应该不需要是往返？Trip Delay的Covered Trip定义是Covered Trip means a period of round-trip travel to one or more destinations balabala，这个是往返。
