有没有大佬讲讲Ethereum from PoW to PoS

最近再ethermine 首页看到下面announcement， 不太懂加密货币背后的这些technical东西，能不能请某位大佬讲讲是咋回事，是以后不能挖ethereum还是只是不能再ethermine挖？

Important Announcement - End of Ethereum PoW Mining Phase

Since the start of the Ethereum project, one of the core items was to transition the consensus mechanism to Proof of Stake. After seven long years of research & development, the mining phase of Ethereum will come to an end on the 15th of September 2022. After this date it will no longer be possible to mine Ether on the Ethereum Network using Graphic Cards (GPUs) or ASICs.

As a consequence of this transition, the Ethermine Ethereum mining pool will switch to withdraw-only mode once the Proof-of-Work mining phase has ended. An accurate countdown timer will be available on the miner dashboard. You can continue to mine Ether until the countdown has reached zero.

This means that all Ethermine stratum servers will be shut down, and you will no longer be able to connect your miner to the Ethermine Ethereum pool. In order to receive a final payout of your unpaid balance, it will be possible to trigger a manual payout on your individual Dashboard page. It is possible to request a manual payout if your unpaid balance exceeds 0.005 ETH. For manual payouts, the transaction fee will be deducted from your unpaid balance.

After carefull evaluation bitfly has decided not to offer a dedicated mining pool for any of the planned PoW fork.

If you do with to continue mining other coins we suggest joining one of our other high performance mining pools:

Furthermore we will offer a 0% fee promotion during the whole month of September for our Ethereum Classic, Ravencoin, Ergo & Beam mining pool. During the full month you will be able to mine on those pools without any pool fees.

现在消息太乱了，有的人说eth在pos后会跌，有的说会涨…咱也不懂也不敢问

之后不能挖ETH，可以去挖其他crypto

还有大约17天 转pos，意思是如果一切顺利 以后eth区块更新不再需要算力“挖矿”，这也是eth一直以来的目标，推迟了很多次但这次应该不出意外会正式改变。简单来说就是大家都不能挖了

eth现在全网800t算力，其他几个显卡算法币加起来根本消化不了这么多（etc+rvn+cfx加起来最多消化200t左右）

所以半个月后可能会看到各种白菜价显卡了

不需要算力挖矿，那要怎么挖？

他的挖矿指的是PoS存款挣利息的“挖矿”。就和银行一样

持有一点，PoS就是个贱货。刚开始说PoS能节约能源，让gas降低，速度提升。等大家都选完同意PoS了，反手来一个gas不变，速度还是12-15s出块。转了个j8？草泥马的V狗。明明技术能降gas，能提速，偏不！继续耍你的小99，烂逼玩意

stake，有很多区块链的币也是这样的，比如EOS，简单来说就是抵押现有货币运行节点“挖矿” 不再需要算力，目前一个全节点需要抵押32个

看了一下讲解 感觉有些人的concern非常有道理啊：转换成PoS以后 最大的几家都受美国法律控制 仅仅头部几家加起来都占66%了 回头美国法律说制裁一个ETH地址 他们就会制裁 这样就完全没有了block chain最大的特色 – censorship free 了。

明明技术能降gas，能提速

现在的技术并不能；Ethereum的data availability方案还完全没定，没有它就没有sharding和high throughput，因为用来传输block的物理网络（也就是internet）并没有变化。没有high throughput就没有low gas fee，因为gas完全就是由供求决定的，很多人想用ethereum但ethereum只支持那点throughput，那gas fee自然就上涨了，和拍卖是一个道理

完全不一样的 之前制裁俄罗斯账号只是Coinbase这种交易所操作的 你把币放在交易所这本来就不是正确操作 “not your keys not your coins”。而一个 law compliant PoS Ethereum 则是从根源上就可以实施制裁 被制裁的话你就算拥有私钥也没办法转账了。
