本人中国护照加美国绿卡，家里有事随时可能要回国。看了一下机票，从伦敦转机，有跨机场转机美国东岸->LGW->LHR->中国，也有不跨机场转机东岸->LHR->中国，当天转机，不同航司，要重新办理登机手续，如果我不托运行李的话，到底要不要申请DATV？
试着申请了一下DATV，居然说 “You must provide evidence that your journey from the UK has been booked / confirmed, and that it is within 48 hours of arrival in the UK”，我没买票的话就不能申请？这个申请审批速度快吗？
这个属于过境免签，英国24小时过境免签规则上可以入境的，但实际操作中很ymmv，不想让人拿这个政策过夜。你这里有当天下一程机票感觉很稳。
不跨天，上午到，晚上走，不同机场转机没过境签的话稳吗，还是有可能有例外？
这个肯定可以，别说转机了，出境溜达一圈都行
Google说 “you will need to apply for a Direct Airside Transit visa (DATV) if you are transiting through the UK on your way to China. You do not need to apply for a visitor visa if you are transiting through the UK for less than 24 hours and you will not leave the international transit area of the airport.”
那我从LGW->LHR这个线路就不行了，跨机场了呀。不过看大佬回复，LGW->LHR也是可以的。
本质上就是能不能免签入境的问题，你有绿卡且非申根区出发，几乎没有不让入境的dp、但还是另一条线路更稳妥

有个Transit Without Visa的另外，针对拥有美国绿卡美国有效签证等开了免签转机的口。看DP是如果申根区出发过夜有不让入境的，但你这个北美-london-中国还不过夜，感觉是这个政策最容易的一个情况了
