When troopers got there, they found a Ford F-150 pickup truck fully engulfed in flames, state police said.
Walsh said a preliminary investigation showed the vehicle that caught fire, a white 2006 Ford F-150 pickup truck, was traveling eastbound on County Line Road.
According to HPD, a white tractor-trailer truck was stopped in the southbound lanes of McCarty with its left turn signal on to turn onto Portwall Street when a blue Ford F-150 hit the back of it.
The Ford then caught fire and was extinguished by a passerby, police said.
On June 2, a Ford F-150 crashed into a Habersham County fire truck that pulled in front of it.
Surveillance cameras captured the moment the vehicles collided and burst into flames.
