上周末去南通洲际酒店耗掉洲际大使带的BOGO券，顺便也测试一下去年底40刀拿到的lHG钻石有没有卵用。订的乞丐房（基本房，city view)。入住前一两天，酒店小姐姐打电话来告诉我给我升级了，市景房变成了江景房，big deal。我说我是期待升套房呢，毕竟我是钻石大使会籍哦。但，我左说右说，小姐姐就是不给我升，最后给了间行政楼层的不带行政代遇的江景房。要到了三份早餐（我的理由是，大使带一份，钻石带两份）。她说按规定最多给两份，但最后还是给了三份。
入住当天，check in时我又问前台今天入住率如何呀，有无可能升套呀，我上次在哪儿哪儿住洲际就给我升套了呀。回答仍然是个firm的不行。
除此以外，酒店还行，维护得挺好。早餐不错。周边环境也很好。
发现附近一家做当地菜的网红餐厅，他家的小黄鱼是我吃过最好吃的。
他家的天下第一鲜，文蛤，也十分惊艳。用农夫山泉现场煮，水里放点葱姜。文蛤开壳了就可吃，鲜美无比：
酒店旁边的一家upscale餐厅，梅林春晓，也不错，但除了环境更好以外，味道，性价比等是比不上上面说的“南和通”的。
不是说国内洲际一般会给酒廊么，怎么你这个还专门不带酒廊
估计这家洲际不一般。
然后，今天算积分时发现Chase只给了我5x（识别为酒店，但没自动识别为lHG酒店）。
打电话给Chase，Chase整了几分钟，说系统里找不到你住的这家 BIN JIANG JIU DIAN（“滨江酒店”）呢，没法给你调整5x至10x，你找IHG吧。我就又电话IHG，几分钟后，给我了3000点，又转我至听课房推销，说是再给500点，我说才500点呀，价值2.5刀，能不能加个零呀？他说you deserve it but that’s what I can offer。BS了一会儿我以他们没有夏威夷的听课房拒了。那salesman食言，没给我点数，我就又chat，最终还是拿到了。

IC升套真的非常少，可能你是皇家大使才可能，DA默认行政。
嗯，我估计把水单发给Chase能把那剩下的5x，650个点不到，要回来，但时间精力上不值。再说IHG已超额补了，这次就不再去折腾了。
我以前都不怎么关注积分是怎么算的。最近看泥潭上有贴子说有时会算错，才特意看了看，没想到还真有可能算错 
是的，IHG家似乎是比希尔顿家抠门。希尔顿水钻在国内升套的机率挺高的（50%+）。IHG是明显低多了。
吸取教训，下次用BOGO直接订套房或套房下一级的。
就是一个游戏。真佩服这些salesmen, 很smooth, 话听着让人舒服。各种情况都能应对，估计是把各种scenarios的应对scripts背了下来，你说什么，他都能妥贴地回答。

我在酒店checkout时没找前台要水单，她们也没给我发电子的receipt。我早先试了一下在IHG的网站上fetch一个receipt也没成功，所以才打电话给Chase和IHG。

按规则，IHG是不支持高级会员免费升套的，希尔顿升套是在条款里写着的。
国内IHG，皇冠、假日还是比较容易升套的（超条款），洲际升套的少。
好，下次住这俩个品牌看看。
为了不到650个爱吃鸡的积分，我也是拼了，写了一份小作文：
Dear Chase benefit administrator,
I am writing to inform you of a miscalculation (under-calculation) by Chase of my IHG Reward points by using my Chase IHG Premier MasterCard at an IHG hotel.
I stayed two nights at the InterContinental Nantong (China) hotel. As you can see in Photo 1, the hotel put a 2000 CNY hold on my Chase IHG Premier card initially at my check-in (on February 14, 2025 local time). For this stay, I was using the InterContinental Ambassador "buy one get one free" voucher, therefore at check-out (on February 16, 2025 local time), I was billed by the hotel for the first night's stay, charging my Chase IHG Premier card, see Photo 2, the hotel's final bill for my stay there.
Now the problem is that although the hotel's official English name is InterContinental Nantong, a bona fide IHG hotel (Hotel Website is: https://www.ihg.com/intercontinental/hotels/us/en/nantong/ntgha/hoteldetail), when it charged my Chase IHG Premier card, it called itself "BIN JIANG JIU DIAN", which is a direct translation of the pronunciation of its Chinese name, literally meaning "Riverside Hotel". As you can see in Photo 1's "MERCHANT NAME" section, "BIN JIANG JIU DIAN" is just an alias of the Nantong InterContinental Hotel.
Now, looking at my Chase IHG Premier card's account page on Chase.com, Chase categorizes my spending at InterContinental Nantong as "Hotel" or "Other Travel", thus giving me 5x on my eligible spend there, see Photos 3 and 4. However, due to the fact that the hotel billed my Chase IHG Premier card as "BIN JING JIU DIAN", Chase's system does not realize that this hotel is an IHG hotel, therefore Chase should have given me 10x on my eligible spend over there.
Could you please look into this issue and correct the number of points awarded to me (i.e., instead of giving me 5x, please give me 10x).
