看到美卡指南今天新发布的《邮轮预订常见问题 Q&A》，想给大家介绍下如何在预订邮轮时使用 AMEX 白金卡的 Cruise Privileges Program (CPP) 福利，以及如何绕开 AMEX Travel 使用 CPP 福利。
AMEX Cruise Privileges Program (CPP) 简介
AMEX 有个相对不知名的福利叫 Cruise Privileges Program (CPP)。简单来说，用个白、商白、百夫长从 AMEX Travel 预订 5 晚以上参与活动的邮轮，可以按舱位拿到 $100 - $300 的 Onboard Credit (OBC) 和额外礼遇（通常是红酒、香槟、果篮、轻食或 Spa Credit）。除此之外，用个白、商白、百夫长从 AMEX Travel 预订 CPP 邮轮还能获得 1X 额外 MR 积分，使得总积分变为两倍。

AMEX 官网的 Terms and Conditions
Cruise Privileges Program (“CPP”) benefits are valid only for new CPP bookings made with participating cruise lines through American Express Travel. CPP benefits are valid only for eligible U.S. Consumer and Business Platinum and Centurion® Card Members (Delta SkyMiles® Platinum Card Members are not eligible). CPP bookings must be made using the eligible Card. CPP benefits are non-transferable. Participating cruise lines and program benefits are subject to change. The benefits of an onboard credit and amenity are valid for new CPP bookings of at least five nights and require double occupancy; the eligible Card Member must be traveling on the itinerary booked; the total cost of the CPP booking must be paid using an American Express® Card in the eligible Card Member’s name. Onboard credits and amenities cannot be combined with other offers unless indicated; blackout dates, category and fare restrictions may apply. Onboard credits and amenities may not be available to residents outside of the 50 United States. Onboard credits and amenities apply per stateroom, with a three-stateroom limit per eligible Card Member, per cruise. For new CPP bookings with Celebrity Cruises, Norwegian Cruise Line, Holland America Line, Princess Cruises, Royal Caribbean International and Virgin Voyages, eligible Card Members receive an onboard credit (in USD) of: $100 for inside and outside staterooms, $200 for balcony, verandah, and mini-suite staterooms, and/or $300 for suites. For new CPP bookings with Cunard, eligible Card Members receive an onboard credit (in USD) of: $300 for all Queen Mary ocean-view staterooms category EF or higher, and/or Queen Victoria or Queen Elizabeth ocean-view staterooms category FA or higher. For new CPP bookings with Ama Waterways, Oceania, Regent, Azamara, Seabourn, Silversea, Uniworld, Windstar, Explora Journeys and The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection, eligible Card Members receive an onboard credit of US$300 for all stateroom categories. For new CPP bookings, Centurion Members receive an additional US$200 onboard credit on Explora Journeys, Regent Seven Seas Cruises, The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection, Seabourn, and Silversea. Onboard credits will be applied at checkout upon completion of the cruise; credit amounts in local currency may vary due to foreign exchange rates; credits are subject to cruise line terms and policies; credits cannot be used for casino charges, gratuities or other similar charges. Any unused portion of a credit is non-refundable and is not redeemable for cash. Other restrictions may apply. Onboard amenities vary by participating cruise line and are not available on Silver Explorer, Silver Galapagos and Silver Discoverer. Onboard credits and amenities are not available on Celebrity Cruises Galapagos sailings.

但单一行程如果预订多个房间的，其它房间通常也能拿到额外的 OBC -
CPP 的 OBC 及礼遇不能与其它 offer 叠加除非特别注明
这一条主要是针对特定渠道（比如 Casino）以及内部价格（比如从业人员、员工家属价格等等），公开的 Offer 基本上都可以叠加，比如股东 OBC、以及 Travel Agent 返款等等 -
美国 50 州以外的居民可能无法享受 OBC 及礼遇
这个按预订时留的地址 -
可能有 blackout dates 或其它限制
目前还没有遇到过，可能取决于邮轮公司 -
OBC 不能在 Casino 使用或支付小费
这一条有点像很多 AMEX Offer 说不能买 Gift Card 但实际又可以，取决于具体邮轮公司。我们目前坐过的邮轮 OBC 都可以支付小费，有些可以无损从 Casino 取出。 -

奇技淫巧
绕开 AMEX Travel 预订邮轮叠加 CPP 福利
严格来说，与下一条相比，这一条并不是传统意义上的奇技淫巧，只是 AMEX 官网上没有列出的隐藏条款。
因为 AMEX 官网上明确说 CPP 福利必须通过 AMEX Travel 预订，从来没想过其它预订渠道也可以叠加。前几年偶然和我的 travel agent 提起 AMEX 的 CPP，他说从 travel agent 预订也可以参加 AMEX CPP。
Agent 版本的 CPP Terms & Conditions，和 AMEX 官网的基本一致，唯一注意到的区别是 “through American Express Travel” 后面多了 “or American Express Travel Agent Partners”…
据说大多数正规 travel agent 都可以参加 AMEX CPP。大致流程是在 AMEX 给旅行社专用的 CPP 福利网站上输入 AMEX 卡号，如果是白金卡或百夫长卡，就会拿到一个 tracking code，预订时把这个 code 提供给邮轮公司，就会拿到额外的 CPP OBC 和礼遇。
为什么绕开 AMEX Travel？
绕开 AMEX Travel 的优点：
- 可以货比三家，找自己最满意的 travel agent
- AMEX Travel 经常不愿意叠加其他活动，哪怕是邮轮公司允许的
- 有些 agent 可以提供额外折扣、组团价、额外 OBC 奖励（或支票返现）等等
- 有些 agent 专注于邮轮预订，比 AMEX Travel 要专业
- 有了固定 agent 之后可以省去和不同客服打交道的麻烦
- 有些 agent 有直线电话，办事效率高
- 在支付尾款时可能有用其他卡支付的操作空间
此外，从 Travel Agent 预订依然可以正常触发邮轮公司的各类支付活动，比如 AMEX Offer、Chase Offer 等等。
绕开 AMEX Travel 的缺点：
- 即便用个白、商白、百夫长支付也拿不到 CPP 的额外 1X MR 积分奖励

因为这艘船上 OBC 基本可以无损取出，实际净价大约是 $712.56。在 12 月旺季，包吃包住的阳台房，平均每晚 $118 可以说是相当划算的价格了。
AMEX Travel 预订价
邮轮报价每天都可能变化，在上述价格当日，AMEX Travel 的报价与邮轮公司官网相同，比 agent 高了 $100，因为 agent 还额外赠予了 $100 OBR (Refundable OBC)，所以总共差了 $200（假定从 AMEX Travel 也可以正常拿到 RCL 股东和 FCC 的 OBC）。
不用 AMEX 卡付全款
上面已经说过，只要是个白、商白、百夫长持卡人，使用名下任何 AMEX 卡支付都可以获得 CPP，比如可以完成 Aspire 开卡消费，但有没有可能不用 AMEX 卡付全款依然拿到 CPP 呢？
个人经验这是完全可能的，但能否成功取决于邮轮公司和 travel agent。
第一次成功完全是意外。因为邮轮预订时一般只需要支付 deposit，这部分是用 AMEX 个白支付的，支付余款时因为工作非常忙，就让 P2 和 travel agent 联系支付了尾款。我以为 travel agent 知道有 CPP OBC 就一定会要 AMEX 卡支付余款，所以没有特意交代 P2，结果 P2 用 CSR 支付了尾款，一直到行程结束后才发现，完全没有影响 CPP 的 OBC。
第二次就是特意实施的了，首先在船上参加了 Book Later 版的 Future Cruise Credit 活动，用 CSR 支付了 $100 的 deposit。后续让 travel agent 预订行程时用 AMEX 支付了 $100 的 deposit 差价，成功拿到了 CPP 的 OBC。在支付尾款时，故技重施用了 CSR。
Agent 告诉我，多数邮轮公司只有在支付 deposit 的时候会严格要求用 AMEX 支付才给 CPP 的福利，而尾款往往在邮轮公司的 agent portal 上自助支付，支付系统并不会自动强制要求 AMEX 付款，支付后也不会自动取消 AMEX 的 CPP 福利。虽然理论上来说，邮轮公司可能会人工审核去掉 CPP 的 OBC 福利，但实际上很少有邮轮公司会愿意花时间替 AMEX “执法”，尤其是从 Travel Agent 预订的行程，改变任何预订的现有福利都会给 Travel Agent 带来不必要的额外工作，基本上没人会去做这种吃力不讨好的事情。
他还曾经在邮轮公司 agent portal 上为客户用 gift card 充值 onboard credit，但因为尾款还没付清，系统自动用充值的金额用来支付尾款了，也没有收回 AMEX 的 CPP OBC。所以他觉得用邮轮的 Gift Card 付款可能也不会影响 CPP。
