I had this issue. So aggravating. They cannot fix it on chat and their call center is the worst.
Anyway I was lucky enough to talk to the only competent employee there who had me do the following process. This worked
Open your browser in incognito or a private window.
Google transunion login
official site > member login
Log into your account
Request/view your credit report
Let it load.
Scroll all the way to the bottom of the page and back up
Click on the “Credit Freeze” tab
You should see your freeze status now
I asked her why this is happening and she said when you request your report it updates everything in their system. Once it’s all updated the site can show you the status.
Pretty messed up but it worked.
