he $250 million settlement covers the purchase of Apple Intelligence-capable devices between June 10, 2024 and March 29, 2025 in the United States. That includes:
iPhone 15 Pro
iPhone 15 Pro Max
iPhone 16
iPhone 16e
iPhone 16 Plus
iPhone 16 Pro
iPhone 16 Pro Max
The payout will be $25 per eligible device, but that number may vary based on the number of claims submitted by eligible users. If a large percentage of eligible users submit claims, the payment could be lower. The maximum payout is $95 per eligible device.The $250 million settlement also covers attorneys’ fees and various other administrative costs, which reduces the pool actually paid out to users.
To submit a claim, you’ll need to provide proof of your purchase of an eligible device, such as a serial number, Apple Account information, and phone number. The settlement received preliminary approval today, and notices inviting claim submissions will be sent within 45 days.
