这里面大概有三层级别：
一个是直接keep email
一个是会变成@alumni.xxx.edu的校友email
最差的是没有email access，但一般会保留一个指针，可以forwarding
这里面主要一些因素我调研了一下
一个是各个学校都把办公系统从Google转成Microsoft
另一个是Google之前对高教系统提供的免费workspace storage结束了，各个学校要节流，节省开支，所以我看有的学校是降低workspace存储空间，这个比较合理，比如UT Austin，只允许1个G
最后想说的是，看到一些博士后，同时拥有@mit.edu，@princeton.edu的邮箱地址，真的感觉是一种privilege
有的 alumni edu 等于没有，原来学生edu的邮箱没办法收信

columbia直接keep email
MIT原email直接清空没收，只有一个新的alumni.mit.edu
只有duke的alumni.duke.edu今年也要没了吗。 大发慈悲延期到明年了

毕业后切换@alumni.utoronto.ca，内容不会迁移
2010年之前@utoronto.ca的学生邮箱还可以通过@toronto.edu收信，那时候撸了好多美国的edu discount来着，后来迁移到@mail.utoronto.ca好像就不行了 
cornell真的牛逼，感觉这个留着的edu email给我撸到不少福利
purdue 也要无了

我们给个terpmail.umd.edu，还挺良心。毕业10年了还能用。邮件也都给迁移了，我还能找到10年前的
国内某校校友邮箱喜提暖心从.edu.cn升级到.edu
我一直没转alumni email好像也迷迷糊糊这么用下去了，白嫖免费的Capital IQ都好几年了
nyu也是保留的
而且不带alumni
多亏Columbia 毕业好几年了一直还续着student Amazon

害我連夜把20TB的黃片搬下來
yale会变成alumni
ucb会留着原邮箱
yale毕业一年后收回@yale.edu，要自己去手动注册校友邮箱@aya.yale.edu再把旧email里的邮件transfer过去
UPenn收回edu，要自己注册Alumni，抠死了
UVa的email今年6/30discontinue，也是因为学校OA系统从Google转向Microsoft
