when crossing into mex, that day I went there are a lot of people, line started way outside of the swing door, left side for tourist, right side for mexican (much shorter), i was holder my mexico resident visa, they let me line up with mexican on the outside on the right, when I got through the swing door, it is left side for mexican no need to stamping, right side is for tourist that needs FMM. first i went with the mexican, almost directly go into mexico without any stamp, i talk to a officer asking for canje (干黑), i then went to the tourist line on the inside, still saved me at least 30 mins because i got to skip the outside line, tldr, outside of the swing door, line with the mexican, once get in, line with the tourist.
once get into tijuana, walk away from the crazy stuff right at the gate, i got uber at the Fertifarma Tijuana at Plaza viva, 6 dollar
hotel astor 泥潭专用，我订到63刀一晚，photo copy is included. I asked nicely with a smile. 这个酒店不知道为什么会有人喷，我猜可能是小仙女类的不适应，我肯定给5star，service 10 out of 5 star, all staff super polite and friendly, room clean and comfortable, future booking remember to ask for room facing opposite of the blvd. 电话可以打通，英语和态度都好。breakfast included 7am, authentic Mexican food
I took the brown color bus (15 peso, about 1 dollar) right in front of the hotel, they all go to 5 y 10, where locals hangout. I only saw 1 gringo there amongst the thousands of Mexican, very cheap and local food. about 8 dollar
souvenir at I LOVE TIJUANA 664 is pretty good and cheap
right next to the hotel there is a supermarket caliexpress bottle water cost about 60 cent - 1 usd
next day got to INM at 8am, i was number 1 for canje, number 4 overall, the other 3 guys from south America got to skip the step 1 directly went to step 2 ID printing, ID printing takes about 15min per person, when I got done with my step 1 (about 25 mins), I then waited about 40 mins in area outside of step 2, step 2 for me about 10 min because I had the form basic prepared (感谢泥潭). At 10: 32 am, I walked out of the INM as a fresh amigo. $789.41 card fee
有关地址被卡的问题，不要写hotel astor 的地址，我估计泥潭去的人都是一个地址，INM领导可能不开心了。我写了一个别的酒店的地址，赌了一把也过了，以后去的人我建议听其他大神的建议写apartment 类的地址。
Then I took the white centro mini bus 18 peso (1 dollar) right in front of the INM bus stop, it does drop you off near the border, it is called linea in Mexican culture.
Global entry took about 1 mins with no stopping/waiting, but without global entry might need 70min wait time. but the officer is rude as f, compared to mex side officer friendly with smile. USA CBP is consistently rude.

summary: I love TJ, it feels very similar to the small town I grew up in, but big city people might have some culture shock.

next step for me:
bring p2 and p3 to get their mex residence if they are interested, I asked the INM officer 丰满美女 Carla, she is the only officer there fluent in both English and Espanol. She said my kid will get RP, but my wife can only get RT. I need to follow up on this, also if I want to get the family union 50% discount, I will need to get the translation, which could be 1000 peso depending on the agent.
