所以为什么一开始要把一堆东西建在沙漠里呢？
这个也是一个隐患，vegas把污水处理完排到水库上游，然后从下游取水喝 不知道污染啥时候会慢慢累积到整个湖都没法喝了
因为有水了呀，lake mead修起来了，就可以住人了

先有水坝才有的拉斯维加斯的特色产业。水坝修建的过程中，大批工人来到了鸟不拉屎的沙漠里，没啥娱乐，黄和赌的产业就兴盛起来了。
其实三峡大坝建设期间，周边区域的暗娼也是个不小的产业链。具体的话可以看看贾樟柯的《三峡好人》。

真的太毒了，目前居住在干旱州周围邻居每天洒水草地绿油油的，我若不弄怕影响社区街道的美观且房价，但洒水巨浪费水，着实进退两难

浇花浇草坪的水还是要盯一下，其实我觉得给水价涨个10倍，然后高尔夫球场的水价涨100倍，就没人养草坪了，但是可能因为政治原因没人敢下手，现在美国西部的水太便宜了，随便流

用水的超级大头是农业，城市生活用水在回收后几乎可以忽略不计。科罗拉多河的用水有严格的配额，我印象里拉斯维加斯的配额经常用不完，因为大多数生活用水都回收了。
可以铺石子然后种一些耐旱植物，湾区已经有很多家庭这么搞了。

我也想弄zero scpaing但人工材料要10K+ （去个草坪要这么贵也是厉害了）目前 city 也没rebeta但隔壁citi 有所以一直在等。。。

Prostitution合法化确实要更早。但是Gambling legalization是在1931，恰好是在大坝修建期间。大萧条期间水坝工人的娱乐需求，的确直接刺激了Vegas特色产业的起飞。
