一直以为V/M这类礼品卡里面的钱不会过期，而且就算礼品卡有效期过期，也可以找客服replace，所以23年打折买了virtual 礼品卡以后就一直放着没着急用。
今天去做facial，被告知如果开会员会便宜，但是又不想给信用卡，就用这种一次性的prepaid的礼品卡了防止反撸。结果被拒，一开始以为是自己用过给忘了，后面查询发现是已经被收了6个月的 $4.95 的dormancy fee。而且我还不止一张，有三张，算起来就接近$90多了，心里滴血啊。
关于Dormancy fee的说明
If you do not use your Account for 12 consecutive months, we will charge a Monthly Maintenance Fee of $4.95 on the first day of each month that follows (starting with month 13) until you use the Account again. At that point, we will wait until 12 more consecutive months of inactivity occur before charging the fee again. If you don’t use your Account for an extended period of time, these fees may lower or even exhaust the balance of your Account before the “valid thru” date has passed. You may avoid this fee by making regular purchases with your Account. There is also a Replacement Account Fee of $5 to replace a lost or stolen Account, so please safeguard your Account information. This fee does not apply to replacement of an expired Account.
于是赶紧联系客服，不得不说他们家的客服很难接通。但是因为我有被拒的交易，所以查询transaction的时候，有个选项是咨询被拒交易的，这个选项直接就接通了。电话放下面了。

，只好自己硬着脸皮上了。
第一个客服一开始咬死说已经收了没办法退，我问能不能问问higher support，也说不行。然我都快挂了，想着最后再哭穷一下，结果对面居然心软了！于是不到一分钟就搞定，说20分钟会更新balance。我再让他操作第二张卡的时候，他就墨迹说查不到了，让我联系giftcards.com。
我懒得扯皮，于是只好重新打相同电话，同时交$100话费被拒后，输入第二张卡都信息，进入咨询被拒交易的选项。不得不说第二个客服人好很多，直接答应帮忙reverse，同时也顺利帮我搞定了剩下第三张卡。
至此损失的$90刀都要回来了，钱虽然不多，但是羊毛薅多了真的容易翻车。
